Know Where to Find Your Romantic Partner
This is John Culbertson from MysticJohnCulbertson.com and this is your mini spiritual lesson for October 5th, 2018.
Our topic this week is experiencing romantic love.
Today’s tip: Look Where They’ll Be
Most people end up looking for their potential mate in places where they could never possibly find someone that has all their must-haves and none of those can’t stands.
We as human beings are creatures of habit. We tend to frequent the same places, at the same times, even on the same days. This does not typically lead to good relationship matching. In some cases, we never even leave the home at all!
To find and experience romantic love you have to be willing to step outside of your comfort zone. You have to be willing to break patterns. You must be willing to try something new at least once a day.
You also should put on your thinking cap and ask yourself: “Where am I most likely to find the type of person I’m really looking for?” Chances are it won’t be a bar or nightclub. Yet we are conditioned as a society to believe that these two places are where all the magic happens.
If you’re looking for a quiet reader try hanging out at the library. If you’re seeking an outdoor enthusiast why not spend some time browsing a sporting goods store or something akin to Bass Pro Shop? Looking for someone wealthy? You likely won’t find them at a bar. Where would they most likely show up? The point here is that you must know what you’re looking for and spend time in the places those people would normally hang out.
The other thing to remember is that it’s important to look in more than one place. Don’t frequent the same place every evening, weekend, or day. Change it up and go to places that you also want to be at. The more you are able to not focus on finding someone and instead focus on just enjoying yourself the more likely you’ll discover someone that you can take a new interest in.
Above all, make the whole process about having fun and being happy. Make it the process of exploring and discovering something, and someone, new each and every time you are out.
Our prayer for this week is as follows:
I know that God is love and love is God in action. I know that love is here now. I am so blessed and so happy that I have an abundance of love to spare and to share now and always. I know that true love is self-love, family love, and romantic love. These words that I speak in faith now activate universal law and I accept the results. I bless all the love I have now and I bless the increase. I bless all the people in my life that I know, even those I have trouble liking or understanding, and I know that love now flows easily and effortlessly into our lives. I give thanks for each and every act of love that graces my life – regardless of if it is physical, emotional, verbal, or intellectual in nature. I release this prayer now saying as I do – I believe, I believe, I believe. So it is. I believe.
